Desktop Al Jonoub Stadium

Designed to be one of the main stadiums for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Al Janoub Stadium was inspired by the traditional dhow boats. Al Wakrah, one of Qatar’s oldest continually inhabited localities, has long been a pearl diving and fishing hotspot.

The majority of the surroundings and infrastructure were replicated in this model to demonstrate Al Wakrah’s creative nature environment and link this new development project to local marine traditions.
